Rockers slip past Dock Spiders

The Green Bay Rockers hung on to defeat the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders at Capital Credit Union Field Wednesday night 7-6.

The Rockers scored three runs in the eighth inning to take a 7-5 lead and overcame a Spider’s rally in the ninth inning.

Nick Harms collected three hits, and Lukas Torres went two-for-four to lead the Rockers’ offensive attack.

Michael Riley (1-3) pitched two innings in relief to pick up the win, and Charlie Adamson preserved the win with a save, his first of the year, even though he was touched up with two hits and one run.
