A late three-run homer proved the difference as the Algoma Penguins registered the 6-4 victory over the Manitowoc Bandits.
The two teams traded runs early before Brayden Skenandor homered to left field, driving in three and flipping a 4-3 Bandits lead into a 6-4 Penguins advantage.
Skenandor registered two of the Penguins' three hits, but they kept innings and opportunities to score alive thanks to five drawn walks and three Bandits errors. Jaden Dillar collected the other hit for the Penguins in the victory.
Will Jandrin earned the win for the Penguins, allowing two hits and one run over two innings while striking out one.
