Days after cutting one kicker, the Green Bay Packers have signed another ahead of next month's training camp.
The organization claimed K James Turner off waivers from the Detroit Lions. Turner was with the Lions for just a few months after joining the team after completing his career at Michigan. Per Packers.com, he played one season for the Wolverines (2023) after four years at the University of Louisville. Overall, Turner finished with 65 of 80 (81.3 pct.) field goals made, 189 of 193 (97.9 pct.) extra points made and a total of 384 points.
