Egg Harbor tops Baileys Harbor

A see-saw affair tilted in favor of Egg Harbor at the end as they beat Baileys Harbor 10-8 at home on Sunday.

The teams combined for 17 walks total in the game and a few costly errors to lead to the tight but high-scoring game. The Indians trailed the A's 7-6 in the eighth inning before they scored four runs to put them ahead. The A's would rally in the top of the ninth, sending seven batters to the plate and scoring one before Chris Lodl struck out to end the threat.

For the Indians, Eric Dejardine led the way, going 2-5 with two RBIs. Five others batted in at least one run as Anthony Jennerjohn and Cory Fuller also had multi-hit games.

The A's saw Lodl drive in four runs on two hits, with River Pawelski and Elvis Torres also registering a pair of knocks.

Jace Johnson earned the win on the mound in relief for the Indians, while Luke Rericha fell in a similar role for the A's.
