Rockers topped in extra innings by Dock Spiders

The Green Bay Rockers lost a nail-biter to the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 9-8 in extra innings Tuesday night.  The Rockers fell behind 4-0 before rallying with five runs to take a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning. After the Dock Spiders tied the game at five and later took the lead, the Rockers responded with Pinch runner Taylor Shultz scoring the go-ahead run on a Luke Moeller sac fly to make the score 8-7.  Fond du Lac tied it up in the ninth and forced extra frames.

The Rockers will face off with the Dock Spiders again Wednesday on the road with Quinn Saunders set to start for Green Bay (7-13).
