The Kolberg Braves rolled on the road Sunday afternoon as they beat the West Jacksonport Ports 14-1.
The Braves scored at least one run in the second through sixth innings before posting four more in the ninth. In addition to drawing six walks and taking advantage of three errors, the Braves posted 17 hits in the win. Trevor Reinhardt led the way with four hits, while Jack Peterson and Austen Rohe each had three hits, and Kyle Routhieaux and Nick LeCaptain each had two. Rohe's hits were the big ones, as he drove in four runs, while Routhieaux and Peterson also had multi-RBI days. For the Ports, Derek Niedzwiecki's third-inning RBI single represented their lone run scored. J
Jake Schneider earned the win for the Braves, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out 11. Woody Schartner took the loss for the Ports, allowing nine runs (7 ER) on 13 hits while striking out six.
