Blizzard club Sharks in playoff clincher

The Green Bay Blizzard ended their playoff drought on Friday night, posting a 63-35 win over the Jacksonville Sharks in their home finale.

The Blizzard outscored the Sharks by seven points in every quarter, including a flurry of action in the fourth that resulted in 35 total points. The team posted two separate times when they went on 21-0 runs that put the Sharks' hopes out of reach. Max Meylor was an efficient 15-19 for 157 yards and four touchdowns while spreading the ball out to four receivers, three of which had at least four catches and one touchdown.

The Blizzard will now spend the rest of the regular season on the road before they learn if they hold a playoff game later this summer.
