The Green Bay Rockers jumped off to a 3-0 lead after one inning and cruised to a 6-3 win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters on Tuesday night at Capital Credit Union Field. Mikel Howell got the win for the Rockers, and Sam Miller went three-for-four from the plate, including two home runs and four RBIs. Allen Lane went three-for-three with a run and one RBI to complement the offensive attack for the Rockers.
Henry Chabot picked up the save while striking out two in the ninth inning as the Rockers kept up their strong play on the diamond.
Green Bay (5-9) has won three in a row and will play the Rafters in Wisconsin Rapids tonight starting at 6:35 p.m.
