The Packerland Conference recently recognized several local athletes that put the student in student-athlete.

 

The 2023 Scholar-Athlete Awards are for second-semester seniors that have earned at least three varsity letters and carry a GPA of 3.0 or better. Each school is allowed to pick four total athletes (two boys, two girls) for the awards. The winners included:

The conference also awarded outstanding achievement awards for outstanding scholar-athletes who had a GPA of 3.9 or better, at least seven varsity letters, and competed as a three-sport athlete for their junior and senior years. Those winners included:
