The Green Bay Rockers' early season struggles continued on Wednesday, falling to in-state rival Madison Mallards 9-4.
The Rockers and Mallards traded runs early before Madison scored eight runs across three innings late to deny the Rockers their first win of the season.
Seth Farni paced the Rockers offensively, driving in two runs as he went 2-3 from the plate. Four other Rockers had at least one hit. Quinn Falish and Henry Chabot struggled in the game, combining to allow six runs (6 ER) on eight hits in just 2 1/3 innings.
The Rockers will get another chance against the Mallards on Thursday night at 6:40 p.m.
