Blizzard battles Quad City Steamwheelers Friday night

The Green Bay Blizzard look to stay atop their conference standings when they host the Quad City Steamwheelers Friday night at the Resch Center.

 

In their last game, the Blizzard continued their strong start to the season with a 54-40 win over the Iowa Barnstormers. The Blizzard scored at least 10 points in every quarter, including 14 points in the fourth quarter, which proved to be the difference. Max Meylor threw for 209 yards and four touchdowns while running for another one in the win. Harry Ballard was the biggest recipient of Meylor's day, catching seven balls for 128 yards and two scores. Four other players reached the end zone once for the Blizzard.

 

Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
