The Memorial Day weekend of baseball continues in Door County League baseball on Sunday as the Maplewood Mets will pay a visit to West Jacksonport to face the Ports as part of the Maifest festivities.

The Mets (2-0) beat Washington Island last week with Zac Marchant homering in the 2-1 Maplewood victory.  West Jacksonport (1-1) took it on the chin last Sunday with an 8-1 loss to Egg Harbor.  The Ports were led by Derek Niedzwicki and Max Bordeau who had two hits apiece. 

Pregame is set for 1:15 p.m. from West Jacksonport on 105.1 The Goat with Paul Schmitt and Henry Annen on the call.  First pitch will be at 1:30 p.m.

Other games on Sunday include the Institute Cubs at Kolberg and Egg Harbor heading up to Washington Island to Take on the Islanders.
