Bats explode late in Braves' win over Indians

A pitcher's duel through four innings flipped quickly in the fifth as the Kolberg Braves beat the Egg Harbor Indians on Sunday 20-10.

 

The Braves put up crooked numbers against the Indians in the final four innings played, including five in the seventh and eight in the eighth, forcing the game to conclude before the ninth inning.

 

Jack Peterson and Trevor Reinhardt both homered as they combined for six hits and seven RBI. Nine Braves players got at least two hits apiece as they outhit the Indians 21-12. Christian Counard had three RBI and three others had at least two. For the Indians, Cody Giesseman tried his best to keep the Indians in it as he drove in six runs while going 2-5 at the plate. Eric Dejardin homered and drove in two.
