The Green Bay Gamblers got a taste of their own medicine from the night before on Saturday night, losing to the Chicago Steel 5-4 in overtime.
The Steel scored the first two goals of the game, but then Ryan Humphrey, Chris Romaine, and Ben Poitras rattled off consecutive tallies to end the second period for the Gamblers with a 3-2 lead. After the Steel tied the game seven minutes into the third period, Mykhailo Danylov gave the Gamblers the slim advantage back. The Steel would later tie the game to force overtime before Michael Hagens delivered the game-winner seconds into the extra period.
The game was marred with infractions, with 16 total penalties called between the two teams, the majority coming from a fight in the second period.
Gavin Moffatt took the loss as he made 22 saves on 27 shots.
