Five goal outburst in the second period buoyed the Green Bay Gamblers in an 8-2 victory Friday night.

It was 4-0 before the Lancers could get on the board in front of its home fans with the Gamblers putting the game away with three more goals after the tally, chasing the team's goalie in the process.

Ben Poitras and Charlie Russell each scored two goals in the win while Blake Bechen (0G, 2A), Jayson Shaugabay (0G, 2A), Michael DeAngelo (0G, 2A), Lev Katzin (1G, 1A), and Ryan Humphrey (1G, 2A) posted multi-point games for the Gamblers. Adam Gajan stopped 25 of the 27 shots he faced on the night, giving up single goals in the second and third period.
