Musketeers complete comeback, beat Gamblers in OT

The Green Bay Gamblers could not hold onto its 3-1 advantage heading into the third period, falling to the Sioux City Musketeers for the second night in a row, this time 5-4 in a shootout.

Scoring in the first two periods came early and fast with the two teams trading goals within 30 seconds of each other in the opening two minutes of the first period and the Gamblers scored two more in the opening two minutes of the second period. The Musketeers would force overtime by outscoring the Gamblers 3-1 in the third period, including a goal by Easton Jacobs in the frame's final minute. Lev Katzin scored the only goal in the shootout for the Gamblers they lost to the Musketeers 2-1.

Jayson Shaugabay followed up his hat trick with two assists while the Gamblers also received a multi-point game from Julian Lutz (1G, 1A). Gavin Moffatt stopped 20 of the 24 shots he saw.
