Shaugabay's hat trick goes for naught in Gamblers' loss

Jayson Shaugabay registered a hat-trick, but the Sioux City Musketeers still captured the 6-4 win over the Green Bay Gamblers at the Resch Center Friday night.

The Musketeers scored two goals a period against Adam Gajan with Colin Gessler (1G, 2A) and Tate Pritchard (2G, 0A) registering multi-point games. Tanner Bruender's second-period goal was the only non-Shaugabay tally for the Gamblers. Gajan stopped 17 of the 22 shots he faced while the Musketeers' Samuel Urban came up with 22 saves on 26 shots.

The two teams will play against each other again on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
