A career-high for freshman David Douglas, Jr. helped the Green Bay men's basketball team break a 29-29 halftime score to win 68-58 over IUPUI.
The Phoenix had to fight hard to even the score, going on a 14-2 run in the final minutes to tie the game after falling behind 22-10 early. A 14-6 run to start the second half put the Phoenix in the driver's seat for the rest of the game.
Douglas nearly doubled his previous career-high with 26 points. Noah Reynolds scored 19 points, while Elijah Jones registered a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Vincent Brady II paced the Jaguars with 15 points.
The Phoenix will stop at home for a game on Sunday against Cleveland State on Sunday before visiting Wright State and Northern Kentucky next week.
