Packers, Lions celebrate Thanksgiving in Detroit

The Green Bay Packers will try to stretch their winning ways to two games while breaking a long losing streak to the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

The Packers headed into a short week on a high note after beating the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20 at Lambeau Field on Sunday. The two teams would exchange the lead four times in the second half with touchdown passes to Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson on either side of a Chargers' field goal to start the third quarter and a touchdown pass to Keenan Allen. The Chargers would have one last chance to score, but they turned the ball over on downs to give the Packers the victory.

The Lions had their own heart attack on Sunday but eventually prevailed against the Chicago Bears 31-26. That extended their NFC North winning streak to seven games and put them in the driver's seat to win their first divisional crown since it was known as the NFC Central in 1993. The Lions already embarrassed the Packers this season, beating them at Lambeau Field 34-20 in front of a Honolulu blue-clad crowd.

Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m.
