The Green Bay Gamblers open their normal regular season campaign on Saturday with a matchup against Team USA in Michigan.

 

The Gamblers have opened the season with two wins at last weekend's USHL Fall Classic, beating the Lincoln Stars 4-1 and the Sioux City Musketeers 4-3.

 

 

The Gamblers recently acquired forward Geno Carcone from the Des Moines Buccaneers in exchange for forward Tobias Pitka. According to the organization, Carcone was the 8th overall selection by Des Moines in the 2022 USHL Futures (Phase I) Draft. The Woodstock, Georgia native spent the last three seasons in the Bishop Kearney Selects program out of Rochester, NY, where he tallied more than 260 points at the 14, 15 and 16-under levels. He was also named to the USA Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in the summer of 2022.
