Packers lose out on Valdes-Scantling

Who will be lining up for wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers this fall is anyone's guess as they lost another option on Thursday.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling became the third wide receiver to leave the organization this month after he signed a three-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs with an opportunity to make more than $36 million. Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Juwann Winfree are the only Packers wide receivers on the roster that have a caught a ball from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Former OL Billy Turner found a new home this week as he reunites with former OC Nathaniel Hackett in Denver on a one-year deal. The Packers did sign DL Jarran Reed earlier this week. According to the Packers, Reed has played in 89 games with 80 starts, recording 237 tackles (123 solo), 24.5 sacks, 24 tackles for a loss, 70 QB hits, seven passes defensed, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in his seven-year career.
