The Milwaukee Brewers outhit the Chicago White Sox 8-5 but came up short on the scoreboard with a 4-3 defeat on Tuesday. Devon Williams took the loss for the Brewers while Lucas Giolito pitched three scoreless innings for the White Sox (5-1) to pick up the win.
Corey Ray went two-for-two with a run and RBI and Pablo Reyes went two-for-three with an RBI to lead the hitting attack for the Brewers.
Milwaukee trailed 4-0 going into the bottom of the sixth and rallied to cut the lead to 4-3 in the seventh inning but could not get any closer.
The Brewers (3-1) play the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday night at 8:05 pm at Goodyear Park in Arizona.
