Track teams begin spring campaigns

College indoor tracks across the state with bustle with activity over the next few weeks as high school teams like those in Door and Kewaunee counties get their seasons underway.

 

In girls' track, Luxemburg-Casco heads to Ripon to face Berlin, Horicon, Howards Grove, Marshall, Mayville, Neenah, Oshkosh North, Pardeeville, and St. Mary.  Their meet begins at 4 p.m.


In boys' track, Algoma, Sturgeon Bay, Luxemburg-Casco, Sevastopol, and Southern Door will face Athens, Auburndale, Bonduel, Brown Deer, Campbellsport, Catholic Memorial, Chilton, Clintonville, Denmark, Dodgeland, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Gillett, Horicon, Iola-Scandinavia, Johnson Creek, Kiel, Laconia, Lena, Little Chute, Living Word Lutheran, Lomira, Lourdes Academy, Manawa, New Holstein, New London, North Fond du Lac, Omro, Pacelli Catholic, Peshtigo, Rosholt, Saint Thomas Moore, Seymour, Shawano Community, Sheboygan Falls, Shiocton, Suring, Two Rivers, and Weyauwega-Fremont at an invitational hosted at UW-Oshkosh. Races begin at 4:45

 

Kewaunee is the exception to that rule. Both the boys and the girls will head to Wausau West to face Antigo, Athens, Cadott, Crandon, Gresham, Tigerton, and Wausau East. Their meet begins at 4 p.m.
