After losing nearly a month's worth of home games due to COVID-19 issues in the conference, the Green Bay Phoenix women will get one of those contests back.
WNIT officials announced on Monday that the Phoenix will host Minnesota in an opening-round game on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are familiar with each other as the Phoenix have 6-8 record against the Golden Gophers including an opening-round 62-60 loss to the Big Ten opponent in the 2014 WNIT. The Phoenix are still looking for their first WNIT win, losing to Kent State in 2019 at home 64-59.
General admission tickets go on sale for the 7 p.m. Thursday game on Tuesday.
