Blizzard drop home opener

The Bismarck Bucks scored 10 unanswered points in the middle portion of the game to beat the Green Bay Blizzard Sunday afternoon at the Resch Center 26-23.

 

The game was a back and forth affair outside of that Bucks run with Blizzard quarterback Torrance Gibson opening the game and closing the game with touchdown passes to Dez Stewart. He threw another one late in the third to end his day 7/20 passing for 105 yards. The difference came in the kicking game where the Bucks' Edward Vander, who was 2 for 3 for field goals compared to 1 for 2 for the Blizzard's Nick Jaworski. 

 

The Blizzard will return the favor on March 27th when they travel to Bismarck to face the Bucks.
