The Green Bay Gamblers could only answer two-goal periods by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders with single tallies in their 4-2 loss Friday night at the Resch Center.
Down 2-0 in the first period, Cameron Lund cut the lead in half inside of two minutes remaining. After a scoreless second period, the RoughRiders scored two goals in eight minutes to effectively put the game away. Nicholas Van Tassell added a goal in the final 45 seconds to cut the lead in half once more before the final horn. Aaron Randazzo took the loss, but stopped 35 of the 39 goals he faced on the night.
