Suns top Bucks in finals rematch

The Milwaukee Bucks traveled to Phoenix to take on the Suns on Thursday night.

The first half remained close between the two teams, but the Suns would use a big 3rd quarter to take a 20 point lead into the fourth frame. The Suns led by as many as 27 in the fourth quarter and never looked back, beating the Bucks by a final score of 131-107.

Both teams played the game short-handed as yesterday was the NBA Trade Deadline and both teams moved some players around. Donte Divencenzo was traded from Milwaukee to the Sacramento Kings and Serge Ibaka was acquired from the Clippers along with two second round picks and cash.

Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday led the Bucks with 21 a piece, and Giannis Antetokounmpo posted 18. The Suns were led by center Deandre Ayton who scored 27. The Bucks next game will be back at home after the long road trip as they will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
