The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team hopes to continue their climb up the Horizon League standings when it travels to Michigan this weekend beginning with a visit to Oakland on Thursday night. 

The team has won nine of their last 11 games including the last six in a row. That includes Monday's 65-56 win over Milwaukee on Monday. Bailey Butler and Hailey Oskey each scored 14 points while Meghan Pingel added 11 points in the victory for the Phoenix. The Golden Grizzlies are game back in the standings behind the Phoenix. The two teams were supposed to play on New Year's Day, but the Golden Grizzlies had to back out due to COVID-19 protocols.

Thursday's game begins at 6 p.m.
