Phoenix women sweep, men swept

The Green Bay Phoenix basketball teams had split results again on Saturday with the women winning their matchup over Northern Kentucky and the men falling to Robert Morris.

Hailey Oskey scored 22 points and Luxemburg-Casco alumna Cassie Schiltz added 14 in the Phoenix women's 67-58 win over the Norse. The game was tied after two quarters of play, but the Phoenix hit their first seven shots from the field and registered 26 points in the decisive third period. The Phoenix shot over 56 percent from the field and over 66 percent from three-point territory to lead to their second straight win on the road trip. They will attempt to play their first homes games since December 20th this week.

The Phoenix men held a slim one-point lead at the break but could not hold in its 62-60 loss to the Colonials. Cade Meyer missed out on yet another triple-double, registering 16 points and eight rebounds on the night. Kamari McGee added 15 points of his own in the loss.
