Gamblers' comeback not enough on 104.1 WRLU

The Green Bay Gamblers scored two goals in the final seven minutes Friday night, but the damage was done as they lost to the Muskegon Lumberjacks 5-4 at the Resch Center.

Jackson Hallum scored his 18th goal of the season in the first period for the Gamblers for the only tally in the frame. The Lumberjacks scored three times unanswered in the second period before Matt Deboer registered his ninth goal to break up the run but give the Gamblers a 3-2 deficit heading into the third. Down 5-2, Jarod Crespo and Hallum scored goals to get the game within one but could not get another positive push to tie the game before the final horn blew.

The two teams will meet again Saturday night at the Resch Center with the puck drop at 7:05 p.m. Tobin Meyer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
