First half run dooms Phoenix against Oakland

The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team gave up a 20-0 run late in the first half that led to their doom in a 68-61 loss to Oakland Saturday afternoon.

The Phoenix were up by eight points midway through the first half when the Golden Grizzlies went on their run. The Phoenix would have to play catch up the rest of the way and shot the part at the very least. They shot 10 percentage points better from the field including 20 percentage points better from behind the arc. The Golden Grizzlies won the game on the glass (37-24 rebounding edge) and the free-throw line(27/30 vs. 7/11).

Donovan Ivory led the way with 18 points with Cade Meyer and Manny Ansong also reaching double figures for the Phoenix.
