Gamblers let first game in Muskegon slip away

The Green Bay Gamblers scored the game's first three goals only to see that lead disappear into a 4-3 overtime loss to the Muskegon Lumberjacks Saturday night.

Ryan Greene and Sawyer Scholl scored their two goals within two minutes of each other to stake the Gamblers to a 2-0 lead. Jackson Hallum would score 12 seconds into the second period, but it was all Lumberjacks after that as they would score two goals in the second period before tying it up in the third period. Jack Williams' second goal of the night was the fatal blow that sent the Gamblers back to their hotel with only one of the two points they were looking for.

They will have another opportunity Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. when they play the Lumberjacks for the second time this weekend.
