The Green Bay Packers will travel to Detroit to take on the Lions in what will be the last regular season game of the 2021-22 season.
The Packers are coming off of a rather easy win against the Minnesota Vikings in week 17 and have already clinched the number 1 seed in the NFC for the playoffs. There has been speculation of the Packers potentially resting starters but head coach Matt LaFleur, QB Aaron Rodgers and WR Davante Adams have made it clear that we will see a little bit of the Packers starters in week 18. Green Bay beat Detroit by 18 earlier this year and has won the last 5 consecutive meetings against the Lions. With a win on Sunday Matt LaFleur would move his record to 40-9 in his first 3 seasons in Green Bay.
Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. on Sunday January 9th from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan
