Cornerback Jaire Alexander gave the Green Bay Packers some extra hope on Wednesday when he returned to practice.

 

It was the first time coaches and players have seen him on the field since October 3rd when he injured his shoulder against the Pittsburgh Steeler, though his time practicing was limited. Two other players mentioned as making possible returns for the end of the season, David Bakhtiari and Za'Darius Smith?. did not practice along with Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb.

 

Their opponent, the Chicago Bears, announced that Justin Fields will be their starter on Sunday as Andy Dalton deals with an injury to his non-throwing hand.

 

The Bears and Packers will play on Sunday Night Football this weekend.
