Gamblers hold on to beat Phantoms

The Green Bay Gamblers started the month of December and the American Cup Series in Rochester, New York on a happy note with a 4-3 win over the Youngstown Phantoms.

The Gamblers jumped out to a 2-0 lead behind goals from Trey Zagrzebski and Ethan Straky. They would make it 3-1 in the second period when Cameron Lund scored his sixth goal of the season. The Phantoms' Winter Wallace and Adam Ingram tied the game up in the third, but Will Staring scored a goal with nine minutes left to earn the two points for the Gamblers. Aaron Randazzo earned the win, stopping 26 of 29 shots.

The two teams battle again at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
