Packers fall short in wild fourth quarter

The Green Bay Packers made a comeback of sorts in the second half but still lost to the Minnesota Vikings in walk-off fashion Sunday in Minneapolis 34-31.

After Mason Crosby converted on the game's first three points, the Vikings scored 16 unanswered points including a Dalvin Cook rushing score and a Kirk Cousins touchdown pass to Adam Thielen. Aaron Rodgers would connect with Josiah Deguara to make it 16-10 at the break.

The Packers and the Vikings would host an air show in the second half with Rodgers and Cousins combining for five touchdown passes, with Davante Adams and Justin Jefferson each hauling in a pair of scores. Rodgers found Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a 75-yard touchdown after the Vikings scored their own touchdown, but it left too much time on the clock as Minnesota was able to march down the field to kick the game-winning field goal.

The Packers will return to Lambeau on Sunday to face the Los Angeles Rams.
