The Green Bay Gamblers dropped the first two games of their four-game road trip away from the Resch Center, including a 3-2 shootout loss to the Madison Capitols on Saturday night.
After a scoreless first period, Cameron Lund got the Gamblers on the board in the second frame with his second goal of the year. Matt Deboer scored his third goal of the year in the third period, but the Capitols would score two unanswered goals to force overtime. After a scoreless overtime, the Capitols' Kyle Kukkonen tallied the only goal in the shootout to earn the home team a victory.
The Gamblers are back on the road this coming weekend to face Cedar Rapids.
