The Green Bay Gamblers saw their small winning streak come to a halt in the third period of its 4-2 defeat to the Madison Capitols Saturday afternoon at the Resch Center.
Matt Deboer opened the game's scoring with just a couple of seconds on the clock in the first period. With the game tied at 1-1 apiece, the Capitols scored three times in the decisive third frame. The Gamblers would cut the lead in half when Nicholas VanTassell found the back of the net with just two seconds remaining in the game.
