The Green Bay Packers escaped the Phoenix area with a 24-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.

Down their top three wide receivers entering the night, Aaron Rodgers still found a way to get seven different players a catch. That was crucial on their first scoring drive of night when they answered the Cardinals' touchdown with a two-yard visit to the end zone by Aaron Jones. That capped off a 13-play drive that took off over eight minutes off the clock. Mason Crosby would later hit a field goal to make it 10-7 at the break.

The Packers would make their lone possession of the third quarter count after they intercepted Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. Rodgers found Randall Cobb for the first of two touchdowns to put the Packers up 17-7. The Packers and Cardinals would trade touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't until former Cardinals practice squad cornerback Rasul Douglas picked off Murray for a second time that the game was sealed for the Packers.

The Packers will now have a long layoff before their next game, a late afternoon game in Kansas City on November 7th against the Chiefs.
