Packers' Adams, Barry out with positive COVID-19 tests

The Green Bay Packers' MIA list just got a little longer.

The organization announced on Monday that defensive coordinator Joe Barry and wide receiver Davante Adams were out due to COVID-19 protocols. Both could potentially miss Thursday's big showdown with the Arizona Cardinals as a result. For Adams, the Packers say that "per agreed-upon NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs are not permitted to comment on a player's medical status other than referring to roster status. Being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list is for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been in close contact with an infected person or persons."

The Packers were already entering Thursday's contest without many of the contributors they were hoping to have back at this point of the season including David Bakhtiari, Kevin King, and Za'Darius Smith among others.
