The Green Bay Gamblers (2-2) bounced back against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (1-3) 6-3 Friday night at the Resch Center. The Gamblers were white-hot to start the game, scoring 5 goals in the opening period, including a hat trick from Jackson Hallum (5) to set the tone early. However, Hallum would seal the game for the Gamblers on an empty-net goal with just under 30 seconds left in the contest.

Hallum was the star of the show, scoring 4 goals total including his first-period hat trick. Other goal scorers include Owen Murray (1) and John Mittelstadt (2). In net, Aaron Randazzo went all 60 minutes, saving 26 of 29 shots in the win.

Green Bay will play the Dubuque Fighting Saints (2-0) in Dubuque Saturday, October 8, at the Mystique Ice Center.
