Gamblers fall hard in opener to Saints on 104.1 WRLU

The Green Bay Gamblers got the fur to fly but not much else in a 7-1 loss to the Dubuque Fighting Saints Saturday night.

Nicholas VanTassell scored the goal that prompted the teddy bear toss just seven minutes into the game. The Saints would score approximately 30 seconds later and not let up the rest of the game, scoring two more times in the first period, three times in the second, and once in the third. Tristan Lemyre was the big scorer on the evening for the Saints, registering a goal and three assists. Nine other players would tally at least one point in the game.
