New week to start new chapter in Bucks organization

The Milwaukee Bucks G-League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, will enter a new era at the start of the week as they named Chaisson Alle the head coach at the start of the weekend. Alle will be the third head coach in the franchises history, and he comes to the Herd from his previous tenure as an assistant coach with the Long Island Nets, also of the G-League. It will be Alle’s second run with the Herd, as he was a Herd assistant during the 2019-2020 season.

Alle replaces Chase Buford, who was the head coach in the 19-20 season, when the Herd finished with a league best record, 33-10. After the Herd didn’t participate in a 20-21 season due to the pandemic, Buford left in June to coach the Sydney Kings of the Australian National Basketball League.
