Brewers pull away from Phillies

The Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies exchanged runs for the first three innings of Wednesday’s game before offenses were settled down. Milwaukee got the deciding run in the sixth inning of their 4-3 victory.

In the top of the first inning, Philadelphia’s Bryce Harper hit a solo home run. The Brewers answered with an RBI double from Omar Narvaez, which scored Kolten Wong, and a run later in the first inning by Narvaez to go up 2-1. Christian Yelich batted in Freddy Peralta in the bottom of the second to go up 3-1 before Philadelphia scored two runs in the top of the third to even up the score.

The Brewers eventually broke the 3-3 tie with an Eduardo Escobar solo shot. The Brewers have Thursday off before facing Cleveland on Friday, at 6:10 PM. The Brewers have an 86-55 record so far this season.
