Brewers return the favor in shutout win

A night after getting shutout 12-0 by the Philadelphia Phillies, the Milwaukee Brewers got revenge with their own 10-0 shutout win. The scoreboard wasn’t lit up until the bottom of the third inning when Eduardo Escobar got a two RBI single that brought home Kolten Wong and Eric Lauer. Escobar would later come around to score and make the game 3-0 after three complete.

In the sixth, the Brewers scored three more when Lauer got his second run after being walked in and Kolten Wong brought home Lorenzo Cain and Rowdy Tellez on a single. After the seventh inning stretch, Avisail Garcia hit a two-run home run that scored Christian Yelich. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Cain scored his second run and Christian Yelich also hit an RBI double that brought Escobar home to make the score 10-0. The Brewers are 85-55 this season after the win. The Brewers play the Phillies again at home on Wednesday at 6:40 PM.
