Defense and special teams were key in the season opening win for St. Norbert College on Saturday against Loras College. After a scoreless first quarter, quarterback Ben Kohn put SNC up 7-0 on a QB keeper from 23 yards away. After being down 14-7 in the third quarter, Joe Jung returned a kickoff 95 yards to the endzone for St. Norbert and tied the game. Kohl got his second rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to put SNC back up 21-14. The Green Knights held on, and in the victory, their defense grabbed six sacks. SNC travels to UW-Stout on Saturday in hopes of going 2-0. Kickoff is at 1:00 PM.
