Dart gets win number 60 at Hill Raceway

Algoma’s Todd Dart earned his 60th Hill Raceway victory on Saturday night but not in the division you may be used to seeing him in. Dart, who’s typically known for his performance in the Modified division, took the wheel of the #99 Terry Conlon prepared Sport Mod. A slight scare came when the racing was red-flagged two separate times. During the Baby Bomber qualifier, Tessa Ducat-Johnson rolled her vehicle and had to be taken by ambulance for further evaluation. Fortunates Ducat-Johnson was alert and awake. In the Stock Car feature, Nick Buckarma also took a roll. Buckarma was physically alright but his car was retired for the night.

In the Stock Car races, Brett Wenzel claimed his third feature win on the season. Shannon Guilette held a lead for each lap in the Unified Dirt Street Stocks division on the way to victory.  Getting his third win this season was Adam Broehm in the Baby Bombers. Saturday’s event was the 2021 season finale at The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay.
