Packers season opener moved to Jacksonville

Hurricane Ida has taken a toll on the city of New Orleans and as a result, the Louisiana Superdome will not be ready to host the Green Bay Packers when they take on the Saints in the season opener on September 12th. The Packers will be the away team against New Orleans as the two teams will square off at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville. The Saints will likely be unable to return to their home arena for at least a few weeks. The last time the Packers played in Jacksonville was in 2016, and Green Bay held on for a 27-23 victory over the Jaguars. The kickoff for next Sunday’s game is at 3:25 PM.
