The Green Bay Packers will look to trim its roster to 53 over the next two days.
The Packers sat about 30 of its players during Saturday's preseason finale over the Buffalo Bills, leaving about 20 spots on the active 53-man roster up for grabs before Tuesday's 3 p.m. cut deadline.
Head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters he would be having practice on Tuesday with his 53-man roster in place, meaning most if not all of the cuts could happen later in the day on Monday. Some of the players will have an opportunity to return to the team as a member of the practice squad, though other teams could pluck those players for their own active rosters before they ever make it there.
