The area’s 8-man football squads had a day of preparation on Saturday with a scrimmage quad. Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, Gibraltar, and Algoma all met at Memorial Field to get reps before their first Friday night gameday of the season. On Friday, Sturgeon Bay visits Oakfield, Algoma heads to Florence, Gibraltar hosts White Lake-Elcho, and Sevastopol hits the road to face Wausaukee. All games start at 7:00 PM.
